BEGGARS GROUP.
Beggars' Group origins can be traced back to Martin Mills' Beggars Banquet record stores, which first debuted in 1973 with a store in London's Earls Court. The shop founders decided to enter the Music Industry as an independent label and release records as Beggars Banquet Records in 1977, which would later become the group's flagship label and namesake. This decision was prompted by the prevalent DIY aesthetics of the British punk rock.

The Lurkers, an English punk band, were the first act signed to the label, and their "Shadow"/"Love Story" 7" single was the label's very first release. Later in the decade and into the early 1980s, the label's survival was assured by successes with Tubeway Army and Gary Numan. Bauhaus, Biffy Clyro, Buffalo Tom, The Charlatans, The Cult, The Go-Betweens, The National, St. Vincent, and Tindersticks were among the artists whose music was later released by Beggars Banquet.
Martin Mills owns and runs The Beggars Group, which has been around for more than 40 years. It still has a strong alternative musical emphasis. As of 2017, 4AD, Matador Records,Rough Trade Records, XL Recordings, and Young are the group's principal record labels. The corporation holds a 50% share in each of the other labels and owns 4AD completely (the label is a Beggars Banquet imprint). Beggars Arkive, the catalogue division for the group's defunct labels, currently includes older labels from the group including Beggars Banquet itself and Too Pure.
The Group presently has three offices in London (two of which also house recording studios), two in the US (New York and Los Angeles), and a specialised office in every significant region thanks to its own global network, which is unique in the independent sector. Being founder members of the AIM (UK) in 1999, IMPALA (Europe) in 2000, A2IM (USA), and most recently the Worldwide Independent Network, all of which represent the interests of the independent music business, the corporation has also actively participated in promoting the group interests of the sector. The independents' rights licencing organisation Merlin also counts The Beggars Group among its active members.

The business has also aggressively promoted the sector's common interests, and is delighted to have been one of the founding members of the Association of Independent Music (UK)

CHOSEN MUSIC VIDEO.
Lyrics

No one knows me like the piano in my mother's home
You would show me I have something, some people call a soul
And you dropped out the sky, oh, you arrived when I was three years old
No one knows me like the piano in my mother's home
You know I left, I flew the nest
And you know I won't be long
And in my chest you know me best
And you know I'll be back home
An angel by her side, oh, all the times I knew we couldn't cope
They said that it's her time, no tears in sight, I kept the feelings close
And you took hold of me and never, never, never let me go
'Cause no one knows me like the piano in my mother's home
In my mother's home
I believe the music video SAMPHA- No one knows me (like the piano does) is the most suitable song to do for my NEA.This is because the song is only 3:50 seconds in length, has a clearly meaning and story line behind the song which i can take into advantage when including actors in my music video.

I can also create a similar narrative to what has been made in the official youtube video by SAMPHA which conveys a similar meaning but has a different approach. This will be clearly shown alongside the lyric 'No one knows me like the piano in my mothers home.'
Sampha delivers a tender, emotional reflection on his childhood with his new single “(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano.” Sampha and Rodaidh McDonald co-produced the track, which originally leaked several months ago before its official release earlier today.
The song is an ode to the piano that Sampha grew up with in his home in south London. He sings about how it helped him develop as an artist.
Further Research:

Why is it that no one recognises the vocalist like the piano?
When he was dealing with his ailing mother, he would utilise it as a way of escape.
Why is this essential to him now?
Despite the fact that it may remind him of his pain, it also reminds him of his gift and how his mother supported him with it.
With the second line, who do you believe he's singing to?
It could have been the piano, which offered an escape from reality. In difficult times, his piano serves as a reminder to him that he has spirit and passion.
Initial Plans.
Chosen Track is Sampha-No one knows me (like the piano).

I have chosen this track because the lyrics of the song fit perfectly with the kind of music video I want to make and I also found the music video for this song really interesting so it was really good for inspiration.

Potential narrative ideas
The main idea I had for the narrative was that it was an isolate building possibly near ashton park which has someone inside as if they're trapped wondering around within the building. As the Music video progresses, the lights on but the lights start to turn of on their own and there is this thing( which then the actor will start dancing) that chases them in the darkness down all of these hallways and it is about the worker there trying to escape them

Themes/key elements

The theme has to be related to something based of isolation as in the song title it mentions know one knows me like the piano.
